Motorcyclist injured in crash on I-78 in Hunterdon County

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County Tuesday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. on I-78 eastbound at milepost 17 in Clinton Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound on I-78 when the driver lost directional control, causing it to go down on its left side, Lebron said.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
